Planning an event in South Moravia this year? We have 5 tips to take it to the next level.

1. MojaKarta

Are you organizing a tourist or incentive program in South Moravia? Take advantage of the benefits offered by the tourist card introduced by the region last year. Tourists can obtain the MojaKarta when staying for at least 2 nights at participating accommodations. After that, it’s easy. MojaKarta is digital, so you can’t lose it. As its holder, you and your entire group have a bundle of great offers for dozens of attractions right in your pocket (i.e., on your mobile). It also includes renowned South Moravian wineries and other gastronomic venues. Find everything you need at mojakarta.cz.

2. Event app

Organizing an event in South Moravia? Take advantage of the web application we’ve developed for event organizers to save time, money, and, last but not least, the environment. No need for printed programs or flyers. Participants can find all the necessary information in the user-friendly app: the program, location, hotel and restaurant recommendations nearby, the cultural calendar, and much more. The app is available in both Czech and English, and its use is completely free for event organizers in South Moravia.

3. Battle of Austerlitz: 220th Anniversary

In December 2025, it will be exactly 220 years since the famous Battle of the Three Emperors, in which Napoleon and his army defeated the Austrian-Russian forces. The battle reenactment takes place annually under the Austerlitz Project on the field near Tvarožná, and this year it will be particularly grand. Spectators can watch the military maneuvers either directly from the “battlefield” or from a paid VIP stand. A program commemorating the historical events also takes place at the same time in Slavkov, where you can stay in the charmingly decorated Villa Austerlitz.

4. The Slav Epic by Alfons Mucha still in Moravia

The Slav Epic, the famous collection of large-format paintings by Art Nouveau artist Alfons Mucha, will be on display this year and in 2026 at the Moravský Krumlov Castle. After that, it will move to Prague. Take this opportunity to view the unique exhibition in peace, without the crowds of tourists. The life of Alfons Mucha is also closely tied to the nearby town of Ivančice, where the artist was born in 1860.
